Coventry City, Nordsjaelland and Caleb Yirenkyi

Coventry City have completed the club-record signing of Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi from Nordsjaelland. The 20-year-old joins for a reported €27m plus €3m in add-ons after helping Ghana at the World Cup and impressing in Denmark.
Yirenkyi becomes Coventry’s fifth summer signing and their third record purchase of the window. The versatile midfielder, who can also play at right-back, arrives after winning the Danish Superliga young player of the year award last season.
