Ipswich Town, Burnley and Florentino Luis

Newly promoted Ipswich Town have signed Portuguese defensive midfielder Florentino Luis from Burnley for an undisclosed fee. The 26-year-old agreed a five-year contract after making 31 league appearances during Burnley’s unsuccessful relegation season last year.
Ipswich added Florentino to provide experience, balance and a link between defence and attack. He previously played Champions League football and won major Portuguese honours with Benfica before Burnley’s reported £20.8m purchase obligation was triggered.
