Jhon Duran, Al-Nassr and Benfica

Jhon Duran is reportedly close to joining Benfica on loan from Al-Nassr after a difficult spell in Saudi Arabia. The Colombian forward has struggled since leaving Aston Villa in a €77m move in January 2025.
Reports in Portugal say Al-Nassr are prepared to cover most of Duran’s wages to facilitate the move. The 22-year-old has been given permission to find a new club and revive his career in Europe.
