Chelsea’s self-imposed deadline for £120m offers for Enzo Fernandez has passed without a bid, and the club now expects the Argentina midfielder to stay. Manchester City remain interested but did not submit an offer before Friday’s 17:00 BST cutoff.
Chelsea regard the deadline as closing the immediate sale window, although City believe a deal could still happen later and depends partly on Rodri leaving. Fernandez has returned to training, leaving Chelsea with greater leverage as the actual transfer deadline approaches.
