Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of Morocco forward Ismael Saibari from PSV. The 25-year-old has signed a long-term contract, with reports putting the fee near €50m after his standout World Cup performances this summer.
Bayern said the deal came from long-term planning rather than a reaction to the tournament. Saibari adds attacking unpredictability for Vincent Kompany after scoring in Morocco’s group games and converting the winning penalty against the Netherlands.
