Angel City FC, Maddie DiMaria and the United States Under-17 women’s team

Angel City FC have confirmed the signing of 17-year-old American forward Maddie DiMaria on a contract running through 2030. DiMaria scored 12 goals at the Under-17 Women’s World Cup, setting a tournament scoring record.
DiMaria previously committed to the University of North Carolina but has chosen to turn professional. She scored six goals in a 17-0 victory over Samoa, another World Cup record, and helped the United States reach the quarterfinals. Angel City confirmed she signed before the October roster freeze and is eligible for their upcoming NWSL playoff match against Kansas City Current.
