Mulbarton Wanderers, Woodford Town and the Football Association

The FA has ordered Mulbarton Wanderers and Woodford Town to replay their FA Cup qualifying tie after determining that the referee made a technical error. Mulbarton had originally won the match 2-1 before Woodford successfully protested.
Woodford scored from a penalty that was disallowed for attacking encroachment, but the referee incorrectly awarded Mulbarton an indirect free-kick. Law 14 required the penalty to be retaken, leading an FA sub-committee to order a full replay.
