Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz and Germany

Germany have confirmed Jamal Musiala suffered a thigh muscle-fibre tear while Kai Havertz sustained a muscle strain during the international window. Both have left Jurgen Klopp’s squad and will miss Germany’s remaining three matches during the break.
Musiala’s injury occurred during the warm-up against the Netherlands and is expected to sideline him for three to four weeks. Havertz was substituted after 30 minutes. Klopp has brought Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Burkardt into the squad earlier than planned.
