Frank Lampard has sealed Coventry City’s return to the Premier League after a 25-year absence, with a 1-1 draw at Blackburn enough to secure promotion. Bobby Thomas scored the late equaliser that confirmed the club’s place back in the top flight. Coventry needed only a point and got it in dramatic fashion after Blackburn took the lead.
