Zinedine Zidane named five uncapped players in his first France squad as head coach. Esteban Lepaul, Jeremy Jacquet, Lucas Da Cunha, Andy Diouf and Guillaume Restes were selected for four upcoming Nations League matches against Türkiye, Belgium and Italy.
Zidane kept the squad to 23 players and also recalled Adrien Truffert. He ruled out returns for Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante, saying he wants to evaluate younger options as France begin a new cycle after the World Cup.
