Thomas Tuchel recalled Trent Alexander-Arnold and Cole Palmer to England’s first squad since the World Cup for four Nations League matches. Ten players who missed the tournament squad return, while Phil Foden remains omitted and several World Cup players miss out injured.
Alexander-Arnold returns as a right-back after last playing for England in June 2025, while Palmer earns his place after four goals and two assists this season. Alex Scott, Rio Ngumoha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are also included in Tuchel’s 27-man group.
