Kylian Mbappe has left longtime sponsor Nike and signed with Swiss sportswear company On, becoming a global ambassador and working directly with its product teams. The move accompanies On’s entry into football after building its brand primarily in running and tennis.
On also appointed Thierry Henry as director of football, while Swiss international Sydney Schertenleib will contribute to product development and testing. Mbappe said the partnership centres on creating new football products, giving On a headline athlete as it enters the sport.
