Vinicius Junior, Real Madrid and Spanish Football Federation

The Spanish Football Federation’s appeals committee has upheld Vinicius Junior’s four-match suspension, rejecting Real Madrid’s bid to overturn or reduce the punishment. The decision leaves the Brazilian forward set to miss the upcoming Clasico against Barcelona.
The suspension follows his dismissal against Villarreal and subsequent protests. It covers league matches against Sevilla, Barcelona, Racing Santander and Valencia. Real Madrid reportedly intends to pursue another appeal before Spain’s Administrative Court for Sport.
