Everton’s owners, The Friedkin Group, have officially announced they are exploring new investment options, including selling a controlling stake in the Premier League club. The announcement comes less than two years after their takeover from Farhad Moshiri.
The group said Everton’s improved financial stability and new stadium provide a foundation for potential new ownership. No buyer or agreement has been announced. The proposed move follows supporter dissatisfaction with summer transfer decisions and concerns over the owners’ involvement.
