Éder Militão and Real Madrid
9 October 2026
Real Madrid coach José Mourinho has ruled Éder Militão out of the upcoming fixtures against Villarreal, Roma and Sevilla. The Brazilian defender is continuing his recovery from physical problems, with the club taking a cautious approach because of his injury history.
Mourinho said Militão needs approximately two more weeks before returning. Federico Valverde remains doubtful for the Villarreal match, while Ferland Mendy is progressing towards outdoor training and Rodrygo remains further away from a return.
