Zarko Lazetic, Al-Taawoun and Al-Hilal

Al-Taawoun have sacked head coach Zarko Lazetic following a 6-0 Saudi Pro League defeat by Al-Hilal. The club had failed to win any of its opening seven league matches, collecting only three points from four defeats and three draws.
The heavy loss proved the final blow after one of Al-Taawoun’s worst starts to a Roshn League campaign. Lazetic admitted Al-Hilal were vastly superior, and the club will now begin searching for a replacement to reverse its early-season slide.
