Savio scored on his Tottenham debut as Spurs beat Charlton Athletic 5-1 in the Carabao Cup second round. Mikey Moore, Dominic Solanke and Kevin Danso also scored before the new £85 million signing made an immediate impact from the bench.
Savio entered in the 71st minute and needed only 11 minutes to score, then helped force another goal three minutes later. Charlton pulled one back late, but Tottenham comfortably advanced after their opening Premier League defeat.
