Sassuolo winger Cristian Volpato has been diagnosed with a moderate-grade flexor injury in his right leg after being forced off against Bologna. The club says he has started rehabilitation, with the expected absence estimated at roughly four to six weeks.
Volpato will miss Sassuolo’s upcoming matches against Juventus and Monza. A return around the AC Milan fixture on 11 October is possible if recovery takes about a month, while a longer rehabilitation would also place Como and Lazio matches in doubt.
