Alexander Sorloth remains sidelined for Atletico Madrid one month after suffering a muscle contracture in pre-season. The Norway striker has missed all five official matches and is still unable to train on the pitch with Diego Simeone’s squad.
Atletico initially placed Sorloth on an individual recovery programme, but his absence has continued longer than expected. With three matches in seven days approaching, the report says a realistic return is now October 10 against Alaves after the international break.
