James was sidelined after a strain suffered on March 8 vs. Boston. His return comes as the Lakers’ roster nears full health, with only a few players still inactive. Rui Hachimura also made his return and is under minutes restriction.

He sat out Friday’s game against the Jazz and will also miss Sunday’s matchup vs. the Trail Blazers. He will be reevaluated Monday.
Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors
Injury confirmed March 22, 2025; reevaluation set for Monday
Curry will miss the start of Golden State’s six-game road trip due to a pelvic contusion.
An MRI confirmed no structural damage after Curry took a hard fall in Thursday’s win over the Raptors. He will receive treatment over the coming days and be reevaluated Monday.
Zion Williamson, New Orleans Pelicans

Williamson has been ruled out of Friday’s rematch against the Timberwolves due to a low back contusion.
He suffered the injury after scoring 29 points on 12-of-16 shooting in Wednesday’s win over Minnesota. The All-Star has played only 30 games this season amid ongoing injury concerns.
Clint Capela, Atlanta Hawks

Capela is expected to miss the rest of the regular season due to a ligament injury in his left hand.
MRI revealed damage in the fourth metacarpal. He’ll be reevaluated in 3–4 weeks, with the Hawks’ final regular-season game on April 13.
Robert Williams III, Portland Trail Blazers

Williams underwent arthroscopic surgery to treat inflammation in his left knee and will be sidelined for 4–6 weeks.
Injuries have limited him to 26 games since being traded from Boston in October 2023. He averaged 5.8 PPG, 5.9 RPG, and 1.7 BPG in just 17.6 minutes this season. With Portland on the edge of play-in contention, his season may be over unless the team makes a late postseason push.
