Real Madrid have officially signed 21-year-old forward Carlos Espi from Levante on a five-year contract through June 2031. The Spain youth international scored 11 La Liga goals last season and was named the competition’s best under-23 player.

Espi becomes Madrid’s fifth summer signing and provides a direct striking option alongside Kylian Mbappe and Endrick. His arrival also follows the club’s agreement to sell Gonzalo Garcia, creating space for another young forward in Jose Mourinho’s squad.

Fulham are reportedly moving closer to signing Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Garcia and could offer up to €60m for complete ownership. Madrid prefer selling only part of the 22-year-old’s rights so they retain control over his future value.

New Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa previously coached Garcia at Real Madrid Castilla and wants him leading the attack. Negotiations remain focused on the ownership structure, although both clubs are said to be moving closer to an agreement.

Wrexham have signed Crystal Palace wing-back Danny Imray on a four-year contract for a reported fee near £5m. Former Wrexham striker Paul Mullin also joined League Two club Rotherham on a two-year deal after becoming a free agent.

Imray becomes Wrexham’s first summer signing after Championship loans with Blackpool and West Brom. Mullin leaves as a modern club icon after scoring 110 goals in 172 appearances and helping deliver three consecutive promotions under the current ownership.

Jordan Henderson has left Brentford after the club mutually terminated the final year of his contract. The decision makes the 36-year-old England midfielder a free agent and clears the way for his expected move to Chelsea.

Liverpool are preparing an opening offer for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola after stepping up their interest. PSG value the France international at about £145m, while Liverpool hope to negotiate a deal closer to the £100m mark.

Rangers are closing in on a deal to sign Philadelphia Union defender Olwethu Makhanya for more than $4.5m. The MLS club will also retain a significant sell-on percentage as the 22-year-old pursues a move to Europe.

Makhanya did not return to the United States after joining South Africa’s World Cup squad and has already played his final Union match. Rangers gain an athletic centre-back who helped Philadelphia win the 2025 Supporters’ Shield.
