Newcastle have been handed a boost in their search for an Anthony Gordon replacement, with RB Leipzig reportedly lowering their demand for Antonio Nusa to around £43m. The 21-year-old Norway winger is being closely monitored.

Scouts watched Nusa at the World Cup and his pace, dribbling and defensive work rate fit Newcastle’s needs. Bayern Munich also admire him, but Leipzig’s reduced valuation could make a Premier League move more realistic this summer.

Fenerbahce are trying to exploit Marseille’s financial pressure, while the French club believe Greenwood’s value is higher after a strong season. The deal now depends on whether Fenerbahce can close the gap with a stronger package.

AC Milan have rejected an approach from New York City FC for Christian Pulisic, telling the MLS side that the United States attacker is not available. Pulisic remains under contract until 2027, with Milan holding an extra-year option.

NYCFC are looking ahead to increased revenue from their new stadium, but Milan want to keep Pulisic despite boardroom instability. The winger is focused on the World Cup after recovering from a calf issue that limited his early minutes.

Chelsea have moved to hijack Inter’s deal for Atalanta full-back Marco Palestra, with reports pointing to a €55m agreement. The 21-year-old was Serie A Defender of the Year after a breakout loan spell at Cagliari.

Palestra’s ability to play on either flank makes him attractive for Alonso’s back-three or back-four systems. Chelsea are paying for upside, athleticism and tactical flexibility, while Inter look set to miss out on a player they expected to sign.
