Leandro Paredes has rejected an approach from AC Milan and instructed the Italian club not to open negotiations with Boca Juniors. The 32-year-old Argentina midfielder made clear that he wants to remain captain at La Bombonera rather than return to Serie A.

Milan contacted Paredes directly before making any club-level proposal, but the midfielder immediately closed the door. His decision removes another possible destination after previous transfer interest and keeps him committed to Boca under a contract running through 2028.

Nayef Aguerd, Marseille and Real Sociedad

Nayef Aguerd has backed out of a proposed return to Real Sociedad despite Marseille reaching an agreement with the Spanish club and the Morocco defender completing his medical. The 30-year-old changed course after speaking with Sociedad coach Sergio Francisco.

The proposed structure was a season-long loan costing around €4m with a purchase option near €11m. Aguerd’s late rejection overturns a transfer that had appeared effectively complete after his successful previous loan spell with Real Sociedad.

Manchester City, Al-Qadsiah and Tijjani Reijnders

Manchester City have agreed a £52m deal to sell Tijjani Reijnders to Saudi club Al-Qadsiah after negotiations advanced from the earlier talks. The Netherlands midfielder is close to agreeing personal terms and trained separately from City’s squad on Thursday.

Reijnders is expected to complete the move after a medical, ending his City spell after only one season. The departure could trigger further midfield recruitment, particularly with Barcelona also pursuing Rodri before the summer transfer window closes.

Celtic, Paderborn and Mika Baur

Celtic have signed Germany Under-21 midfielder Mika Baur from Paderborn for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with an additional one-year option after helping Paderborn secure promotion to the Bundesliga last season.

Baur made 36 appearances, scoring four goals and supplying six assists during Paderborn’s promotion campaign. Celtic manager Martin O’Neill highlighted his technical ability and versatility, while Paderborn said the financial terms would help strengthen their own squad.

Moussa Diaby, Bayer Leverkusen and Al-Ittihad

Moussa Diaby has reportedly agreed personal terms with Bayer Leverkusen on a contract running until 2031 as he works toward leaving Al-Ittihad. The France winger and the Saudi club both want a separation, with Leverkusen now negotiating the transfer.
