The club hopes to finalize the deal before the MLS transfer window opens on July 24, reuniting Di María with Lionel Messi.

Final month of 2024-25 season
Jaylen Brown played through a partially torn right meniscus during the end of the season and playoffs, receiving pain injections since March. He averaged 22.1 points and 7.1 rebounds in the postseason.
Despite the injury, Brown modified his game and pushed through pain to help the Celtics reach the Eastern Conference semifinals. He’ll be evaluated this week to determine if surgery is needed
Ben Mee (Brentford)
End of 2024/25 season
Brentford defender Ben Mee will depart the club when his contract expires, ending a three-year stint since joining in July 2022.
Mee announced Sunday’s match will be his final game at the Gtech Community Stadium. The 35-year-old thanked fans and stated he plans to continue playing elsewhere next season.

Liverpool are finalizing the signing of Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong after triggering his £29.5m release clause. Personal terms have already been agreed.
Frimpong is expected to arrive in the UK for his medical, with the deal set to be announced shortly after.
