Nottingham Forest are nearing a €22 million double signing for Juventus pair Timothy Weah and Samuel Mbangula. Club-to-club agreement is done, pending personal terms.

Benitez started all league matches for PSV last season and joins Palace as backup to Dean Henderson. He brings experience and depth, with Remi Matthews also remaining in the squad.

Rico Lewis’ red card suspension has been extended to three matches by FIFA, ruling him out of City’s final Club World Cup group game vs. Juventus and their last-16 tie.
