Leeds have completed the signing of 26-year-old centre-back Jaka Bijol from Udinese for an undisclosed fee, reported to be £15 million. He signs a five-year deal.
Bijol impressed at Euro 2024 and has 63 caps for Slovenia. He becomes Leeds’ second summer signing after Lukas Nmecha, as the club prepares for its Premier League return.
Walter Benitez (PSV > Crystal Palace)

Crystal Palace have signed 32-year-old goalkeeper Walter Benitez on a free transfer after his title-winning season with PSV Eindhoven. He will join the squad next month.
Benitez started all league matches for PSV last season and joins Palace as backup to Dean Henderson. He brings experience and depth, with Remi Matthews also remaining in the squad.
Kota Takai (Kawasaki Frontale)

Tottenham have agreed a £5 million deal to sign 20-year-old Japan international Kota Takai from J.League side Kawasaki Frontale, with the transfer expected to conclude quickly.
Takai is regarded as one of Japan’s top defensive prospects. Spurs moved swiftly to secure the deal after positive scouting feedback, continuing their trend of investing in young, versatile defenders.
Rico Lewis (Manchester City)

Rico Lewis’ red card suspension has been extended to three matches by FIFA, ruling him out of City’s final Club World Cup group game vs. Juventus and their last-16 tie.
Lewis was sent off for a late challenge against Wydad AC. City appealed, but FIFA upheld the extended ban under Article 14(1)(e). Guardiola must now reshuffle, with no natural right-back available and Kyle Walker absent from the U.S. tour.
Khris Middleton (Washington Wizards)

Khris Middleton has exercised his $33.3 million player option for the 2025–26 season, confirming his return to the Washington Wizards for a second year following his trade from Milwaukee.
Despite injury setbacks, the veteran remains a reliable scorer and playmaker. He averaged 19 points and 6.4 assists per 36 minutes last season, with a 58.8 true shooting percentage—third-best of his career.
Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers)

Tyrese Haliburton tore his right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the NBA Finals against Oklahoma City and is expected to miss the entire 2025–26 season, pending recovery after surgery.
Haliburton collapsed without contact while driving, just days after playing through a calf strain. The injury overshadowed Indiana’s title hopes and ended a legendary postseason run, where he set franchise assist records and hit multiple clutch game-winners.
Moise Kean (Fiorentina)

Manchester United are targeting Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, who has a €52 million release clause valid between July 1–15. Kean scored 25 goals in 44 appearances last season, his best career form.
United are exploring striker options and view Kean as a prime candidate, but face competition from Saudi club Al Qadsiah, who are prepared to activate the clause once eligible. Kean’s prolific season has reignited top-level interest.

The Phoenix Suns have agreed to trade 15-time All-Star Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft, and five second-round picks.
Durant joins a rising Rockets squad led by Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson. The deal was one of his preferred outcomes. Houston improves title odds to +850. The Suns pivot to a youth rebuild, adding shooting and grit with Green and Brooks.
