Victor Boniface has admitted he considered retirement after his AC Milan move collapsed due to a failed medical. The Nigerian striker, plagued by recurring knee problems, revealed the emotional toll after missing 14 games last season through injuries. Boniface starred for Leverkusen last season, scoring 21 goals to help them win the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. Milan pulled out of a €29m loan-to-buy deal after his medical flagged old ACL issues, leaving him to return to Germany and regroup.
