Brentford have rejected Newcastle’s £25m bid for Yoane Wissa, who wants to leave following Bryan Mbeumo’s exit. The club is unwilling to lose another key player and hasn’t set a public price.
After multiple departures, Brentford fear losing attacking balance. Newcastle rate Wissa as Isak’s backup and prefer not to overspend. They remain interested in Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko should Isak leave. Ipswich’s Omari Hutchinson is also on Brentford’s radar for reinforcement.
