Simon Adingra has completed his transfer to Sunderland from Brighton for £18m plus £2.5m in add-ons. The 23-year-old Ivorian winger has signed a five-year contract at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland revived interest after a failed January bid and finalised the deal swiftly. Adingra becomes their sixth signing this summer, pushing total transfer spending past £100m as they continue an ambitious rebuild.
