Free agent Dennis Schroder has signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Sacramento Kings. He joins a new-look backcourt following De’Aaron Fox’s exit to San Antonio and Caris LeVert replacing him in Detroit.
Schroder impressed late with Detroit after inconsistent stints in Brooklyn and Golden State. The Kings prioritized his playmaking and postseason impact, adding him to a core of Monk, Ellis, and LaVine to stabilize their guard depth.
