Manchester City have been fined £1.08 million by the Premier League for breaching rules regarding delayed kickoffs and restarts across nine matches during the 2024–25 season, marking their second such fine in consecutive years.
The league cited delays in matches against West Ham, Spurs, and Man United, among others, with some exceeding two minutes. City accepted the ruling, apologized, and said players and staff have been reminded to strictly follow match timing regulations.
