Aston Villa are intensifying efforts to sign Porto striker Samu Aghehowa after growing unlikely to make Marcus Rashford’s loan from Manchester United permanent.
Aghehowa impressed Villa scouts with a brace against Moreirense. The 20-year-old forward moved from Atlético Madrid last summer and is seen as a long-term attacking option.
