Liverpool suffered a double injury setback during their 2-1 Premier League win over Brentford. Dominik Szoboszlai and Jeremie Frimpong were both forced off, raising concerns about their availability for Tuesday’s Champions League match against Villarreal.
Szoboszlai left the pitch after approximately 32 minutes with a muscular problem, while Frimpong lasted only a few minutes after coming on at half-time. Manager Andoni Iraola acknowledged the strain of a demanding schedule and the squad’s limited recovery time. The club must assess both players before determining their expected absences.
