Dani Carvajal, Getafe and Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal has signed for Getafe on a free transfer after leaving the Bernabéu in June. The 34-year-old right-back ends a 23-year association with Real Madrid, where he won 27 major trophies, including six Champions League titles.
Carvajal signed a contract running until June 2027 with the Madrid-based La Liga club. His final seasons at Real Madrid were disrupted by significant knee injuries and reduced opportunities following Trent Alexander-Arnold’s arrival. Getafe hope his experience and leadership will strengthen their squad.
