Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 981st career goal as Al-Nassr defeated Neftchi Fergana 3-1 in the AFC Champions League Elite. The match in Riyadh was delayed by approximately one hour following a security alert related to intercepted ballistic missiles.
Angelo Gabriel opened the scoring before Ronaldo doubled Al-Nassr’s advantage. Alisher Odilov pulled a goal back, but an own goal secured the victory. The result was Al-Nassr’s first win of this season’s continental campaign following an opening defeat to Al-Ain.
