Como striker Moise Kean has been ruled out for approximately seven to ten days following an injury sustained during international duty. Manager Cesc Fabregas criticised Italy’s handling of the player, prompting a formal response from the national team’s medical department.
Fabregas said Kean suffered a knock against Belgium but subsequently played another international match before an MRI revealed the problem. Italy chief medical officer Angelo De Carli disputed suggestions of poor communication, insisting club doctors were regularly updated throughout the international window.
