Xavi Espart and Barcelona

Barcelona have confirmed a new contract for young defender and midfielder Xavi Espart through the summer of 2030. The agreement replaces his previous deal, which ran until 2028, and secures one of the club’s emerging first-team players.
Espart received improved terms and a higher release clause after impressing under Hansi Flick. Having broken into the Champions League side and received the number 12 shirt, his versatility across full-back and midfield positions has increased his importance.
