Celtic, Dermot Desmond and Celtic Fans Collective

Celtic say supporters found to have organised or participated in a protest targeting largest shareholder Dermot Desmond at the Alfred Dunhill Links golf tournament will face indefinite bans. Tennis balls bearing crossed-out images of Desmond were thrown onto a green.
Celtic called the action premeditated and said it will stop recognising the Celtic Fans Collective as a representative supporter body. Desmond was escorted from the course by security after the protest, which reflected continuing tensions between sections of the support and club leadership.
