Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have reached the Gulf Cup final after winning their respective semifinals. Saudi Arabia eliminated Qatar 3-2 on penalties after a goalless match, while the UAE defeated Oman 1-0.
Othman Camara scored the UAE’s winner against Oman before goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Mukhaini later saved a penalty. Saudi Arabia’s shootout victory sets up Tuesday’s final in Jeddah, where they will chase their first Gulf Cup title since 2003.
