Wales and Norway
1 October 2026
Wales ended a six-game winless run by beating Norway 2-1 in Cardiff, securing their first victory in Nations League A. Neco Williams and Dan James scored as Craig Bellamy’s side recovered after Oscar Bobb opened the scoring.
Wales contained Erling Haaland while restoring the higher tempo and aggressive approach seen earlier in Bellamy’s reign. The result revived their Nations League campaign after opening defeats and gave them a chance of remaining in the competition’s top tier.
