Cole Palmer, Morgan Gibbs-White and England

Cole Palmer is set to withdraw from England’s Nations League squad because of a minor injury, with Morgan Gibbs-White expected to replace him. Thomas Tuchel had recalled Palmer after leaving him out of England’s World Cup squad.
Gibbs-White narrowly missed the original selection and is now in line for his first England involvement since October 2025. Palmer played the full 90 minutes for Chelsea against Brentford but will miss England’s four-match international window.
