Ryan Reynolds, Rob Mac and Wrexham

Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac bought The Turf pub beside the Racecourse Ground, bringing the historic venue under the club’s ownership group. Wrexham was founded at the then-named Turf Hotel in October 1864.
The club said the purchase protects the pub’s long-term future and enables further investment in the fan experience around matchdays. Existing landlord Wayne Jones will continue operating The Turf, while the surrounding area can support expanded fan-zone activities.
