Steven Bergwijn scored all three Al-Ittihad goals in a 3-2 Saudi Pro League victory over Al-Hazm. The Dutch winger completed his first league hat-trick for the club and lifted Al-Ittihad temporarily to the top of the standings.
Bergwijn equalised from open play before converting two penalties, including the winner after Al-Hazm had made it 2-2. Al-Ittihad moved to seven points from three matches, while the treble gave Bergwijn a major early-season scoring boost.
