Amanda Vandervort and the USL Super League
24 August 2026
Amanda Vandervort will leave her role as USL Super League president to pursue other opportunities, with her final day set for Friday. She has been the league’s highest-ranking employee since its creation and helped oversee its launch as a first division.
The USL has begun searching for her successor, while president and CEO Paul McDonough will remain actively involved. During Vandervort’s tenure, the league launched in 2024, agreed its first player collective bargaining agreement and planned a 2027 calendar shift.
