Nottingham Forest, Chelsea and Liam Delap

Nottingham Forest are working on a deal for Chelsea striker Liam Delap, who has been made available for £50 million and is training separately from the first team. It remains unclear whether talks concern a permanent transfer or loan.
Delap was omitted from Chelsea’s squad against Fulham and recently lost the number nine shirt to Joao Pedro. Forest see him as competition for Chris Wood and Igor Jesus, while Chelsea are seeking several departures before the deadline.
