Borussia Dortmund, PSV Eindhoven and Joey Veerman

Borussia Dortmund have officially signed Netherlands midfielder Joey Veerman from PSV Eindhoven after activating his €22m release clause. The 27-year-old has signed through 2031 and arrives after winning three consecutive Eredivisie titles with the Dutch champions.
Dortmund targeted central midfield after losing Pascal Gross and Salih Ozcan, while planning to use Emre Can in defence. Sporting director Ole Book highlighted Veerman’s creativity, technique and vision as qualities expected to strengthen Dortmund’s control and progression through midfield.
