Franck Kessie is closing in on an agreement to join Juventus after rejecting attempts from Al-Ahli to bring him back to Saudi Arabia. The free-agent midfielder is reportedly waiting on a three-year contract worth about €4.5m annually plus a signing bonus.
Juventus first need to create midfield space before registering the Ivory Coast international, with several existing players available to leave. Kessie can sign after the transfer deadline because he is unattached, reducing time pressure while Juventus restructure their squad.
