Manchester City, Marseille and Geronimo Rulli

Manchester City have agreed a £1.7m deal for Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli, who has signed a two-year contract. The 34-year-old Argentina international returns to the club after previously spending the 2016-17 season there without making a first-team appearance.
Rulli arrives as the replacement for James Trafford, who joined Leeds in a deal worth up to £45m. He is expected to serve as understudy to Gianluigi Donnarumma while bringing extensive European experience and international pedigree to City’s goalkeeping group.
