Hull City, Colorado Rapids and Lucas Herrington
Sunday
Hull City and Colorado Rapids have reached an agreement in principle for Australia defender Lucas Herrington. Hull will pay about £12.6m upfront plus £4.4m in add-ons, while Colorado retain 15% of profit from a future sale.
Personal terms remain unfinished but are not expected to block the move. The 18-year-old became a regular MLS starter, made Australia’s World Cup squad and had previously attracted rejected interest from Barcelona and scouting attention from Liverpool.
