Inter Milan have confirmed that Cristian Chivu has signed a contract extension until 2028 after leading the club to the Serie A title and Coppa Italia in his first senior season. The renewal gives Inter long-term coaching stability.
Chivu moved from Inter’s Primavera side to the senior job in June 2025 and quickly delivered a domestic double. His connection to the club and support from senior players made the extension a reward for an unexpectedly strong debut campaign.
